About

I've always been fascinated with Capsule Wardrobes - not only can they function on their own as a unit, they act as a back bone upon which you can build a bigger collection. Based on your capsule, you can define your style and have a guideline on how to build your extended wardrobe.

I first came upon the idea of a Capsule Wardrobe in a style book several years back when I was trying to find a way to edit my own closet. And through this exercise, I became enamoured with this idea. Not only are capsules applicable to the minimalist, they are also a practical way to edit and build your wardrobe.

In this day and age where urban dwellings are getting smaller and closet square footage becomes prime real estate, why sacrifice style for space?

Tired of always having "nothing to wear"? A capsule can help you solve that problem where you know that any piece within it can mix and match infinitesimally to create a myriad of looks and styles. Whether it's a capsule for work clothes to take the guesswork out of dressing bleary-eyed in the mornings, or a capsule full of fun clothes for the evening and weekends, building a capsule is not only practical, it is fun.

Not only can capsules apply to your every day life, it's great for packing and on-the-go. As more airlines start charging for checked luggage, gone are the times of travelling with complete sets of matching luggage and an entourage. This is the age of carry-on travel, and packing a carefully planned travel capsule not only cuts down on luggage, it allows you to travel with stylish outfits.

More and more designers are featuring capsule collections now - as separate entities that can function independently, but also to complement their bigger collections.

This is a destination for all of the above and your capsule how-to's, tips and tricks and so much more! Please stay a while and I hope you enjoy your stay!

XO,
Amy
